Ghorepani Poonhill is a short and easy trek with a splendid view of mountains in the Annapurna region. It is perfect for the people who wish to enjoy the beauty of nature in short and limited time. It is also great for family tours as it is only about 67.5km long trek. The fitness required for this trek is moderate as its altitude measures only up to 3,210 meters. Also, there is less risk of suffering from altitude sickness. The area is famous for fascinating traditional villages, ethnic communities, rhododendron forests and magnificent 360-degree views of more than ten snowcapped mountains. The Ghorepani-Poon Hill Trek can be done throughout the year but it is best to plan this trip during end of the March to May as this can be the most favorable season whereas rhododendrons flourish during this season. You have to walk for 2 days to reach Ghorepani. The trip begins at Nayapul. The trail continues along the Modi Khola to Birethati and then via Tikhedunga Ulleri to Ghorepani. There are adventurous trails to hike, breathtaking mountains to gaze at, fishes to catch & lovely rare birds to spot during the journey. The main attraction of this trip is the view of sunrise from poonhill; it is magnificent. You can also observe the stunning panoramic view of mountains and peaks like Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m), Mt. Manaslu (8163m), Mt. Annapurna II (7937m), Mt. Annapurna III(7555m), Mt. Annapurna IV (7525m), Mt. Annapurna south (7219m), Mt. Nilgiri (7041m), Mt.
